Haven't tried your recipe, but have done prime rib roasts in my Ninja Foodi 8qt over the last 3 years and won't go back to using the oven unless the roast is too big for the Ninja. I've done 4 - 6+ lb in the Ninja, the 6+ have been a tight fit. I do the following on the outside
mince together = 6 large garlic cloves, 1/4 c fresh rosemary leaves, 1/2 c fresh basil leaves, 2 tsp kosher salt, 2 tsp ground black pepper, then add = 3 tbsp Dijon mustard, 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. Make into a paste using a small food processor and spread all over the roast. 20 mins at 400 deg F on AC, then lowered to 350 deg F on bake/roast for at least 45 minutes, checking temp every 20-25 minutes. The roasts were so juicy, tender and just the best! The best part is it frees up the oven for everything else. Really like the above rub, but always open to try others. Just so glad to see someone posting something for "Air Fryer" prime rib. Thank you!
