Under Prep Cherries & Syrup step 6 says Toss 1 tablespoon of the syrup with the cherries reserved for garnish. Toss 3 tablespoons of syrup with the sour and cherry pie filling mixture. I hope you enjoy this recipe!

I want this cake. Ow! I do not see anywhere in the recipe to use the cherry pie filling. Do you add the chopped cherries to it? I want to make this for Thanksgiving. Thank you so much, I have been looking for a good recipe for this cake for a long time
