My mom loves to serve punch at any gathering she hosts in her home. She has several different punch bowls, and it was always so fun to see which one she was going to use and which one of her Christmas Punch recipes she was going to use.

It definitely adds a pretty decoration to your serving table. I just love it and have carried this tradition on in my own home.

What do you eat for Christmas?

Many people serve dinner very similar to Thanksgiving on Christmas Day. Others substitute ham for the turkey. Sometimes I like to mix it up and make a Mexican or Italian themed dinner.

What should I prepare for a Christmas party?

When planning for a Christmas party, I have a few tips to share with you to help it go a little smoother. First, plan!

The holidays are busy, and it is way too stressful to throw a party together last minute. Next, select your date and make your guest list. Get those invites out early so guests can plan, too.

Now the fun part! Plan the menu. See my list of what to eat for Christmas for some ideas of what to serve. Don’t forget to get out your punch bowl for making your non-alcoholic Christmas punch!

It is also fun to make a playlist of your favorite Christmas songs to play in the background. I also love putting together a cute photo booth with some fun props. I also like to plan a few minute-to-win-it type games with a Christmas theme.

All of these ideas involve just a little pre-planning to help make your Christmas party a successful event!
