I like to bring these little pies to large potluck gatherings. At potlucks there are usually tons of yummy things to choose from and I figure if I make my dessert small—bite-sized even—then people will have room to enjoy other items on the buffet, too. I do have to admit though, it’s hard for me to eat just one of these little pies…they’re so good!
This recipe is a great jumping off point for adaptations. Just think of all the other little one-bite pies you can make by adapting your favorite pie recipes: banana cream, key lime, lemon meringue, etc.![gmc_recipe 1568]
