A few months back I went to an avocado tour with the CA Avocado Commission and they prepped their avocados this way by quartering them. Everyone in the room was like “that makes complete sense!”. I have never seen avocados cut this way before; on cooking shows you always see them cutting the avocado in half and then they use a knife or spoon to get the pit out.
Anyhow, glad you already knew this method, you’re ahead of the curve! 🙂
