Today I’m bringing you Pulled Pork BBQ Pizza as the third {of seven} of my Pork Palooza series. In case you missed it, I’ve posted the Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Base & Sliders Recipe, and Pulled Pork Chili for Pork Palooza. Now can I just say how much I love this series? It makes my life SO much easier as my entire week of meals is all planned out for me, all stemming from the pulled pork base recipe.
I made this for dinner with my 3-year-old and she loved helping out with spreading out the barbecue sauce and layering on all of the toppings. Now this Pulled Pork BBQ Pizza just tickles my taste buds. The smokiness from the barbecue sauce and the sweetness from the bell pepper are a great contrast to the peppery, spiciness of the red onion. It’s well-balanced. It’s tangy. It’s flavorful. It’s just good.
Cook’s Note – Pulled Bork Pizza:
- I used my favorite recipe for the pizza dough. In a pinch you can buy store-bought dough from the deli department (NOT the stuff in a tube), or from your favorite pizzeria. Most pizzerias sell their dough balls for a few dollars.
- If you use a pizza stone, like my favorite one, to cook your pizza, remember that pizza stones need to preheat for at least 1 hour.
- I used a thicker barbecue sauce in this recipe so I added a tablespoon of water to thin it out. If the barbecue sauce you use is on the thin side, skip watering it down.

I love pulled pork – this certainly beats eating it out of the tub.
