I’m currently researching Israel and your post is exactly what I have been looking for! Just added more ideas to my growing list, which is ok because with travel comes the potential for unexpected hiccups. Having a long “wish list” is a good thing. Last year I fell in love with Istanbul and Turkey. A food tour I had coordinated for a few friends and myself fell through at the very last minute. Had I not done extensive research beforehand, I wouldn’t have been so calm in making a new reservation through a different vendor. It turned out to be our best day of the entire trip! Looking forward to all the adventures that await in Jerusalem and Israel!!

The food was amazing. Loved the shawarmas, schnitzel, bagels and halva. Had a wonderful week there and can’t wait to go back and be more adventurous with the food.
