You can easily make a cake flour substitute at home! All that you need is just two ingredients: all-purpose flour and cornstarch. I make multiple batches of this recipe and store it in an airtight container in the pantry.

Measure out 1 cup of flour and place it in a bowl.

Then remove 2 Tablespoons of the flour.

Set a fine-mesh strainer over a medium bowl.
Sift the flour into the bowl. Now you have 1 cup of cake flour ready for your recipe!
