Ingredients
MEAT MIXTURE:

Instructions
COOK MEAT MIXTURE:
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the beef and use a wooden spoon to break it into smaller pieces. Cook, stirring often, for 4 minutes.
Then, add onions and garlic and continue to cook until the beef is no longer pink, about 3-4 minutes longer.
Drain off the fat and then transfer the mixture to a Crockpot.
COMBINE REST OF CHILI MIXTURE AND COOK:
Add the rest of the ingredients to the Crockpot.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours or HIGH for 2-3 hours.
SERVE:
Serve with your favorite toppings like sour cream, shredded cheese, and sliced green onions.
Notes
This recipe makes enough for a crowd. It can easily be cut in half (leave out pinto beans) Or serve and freeze leftovers for another meal.
To Make-Ahead:
Cook the ground beef, onions, and garlic and store it in the refrigerator in a covered container for 1-2 days prior to making chili.
