Place the ham into a large slow cooker. Next, in a small bowl whisk together the honey and melted butter.

Cover with the slow cooker lid and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Meanwhile combine the spices for the rub. Rub half of the sugar mixture over the top of the ham.

Watch the ham closely while you broil it for 5-10 minutes, or until bubbly and caramelized.

In a small saucepan add the rest of the sugar mixture and 3 tablespoons of ham juices from the slow cooker. Let it boil for 1 minute then remove from heat.
