Green Chile and Cheddar Cornbread

This Cheesy Green Chile Cornbread is my all-time favorite cornbread recipe!

It has the addition of sharp cheddar cheese and chopped green chiles.

Ingredients 

– Flour – Yellow cornmeal – Granulated sugar – Baking powder – Green chiles – Sharp cheddar cheese

NOTE: Feel free to use whatever chile heat you prefer. Because I have small children I opt for mild chiles.

Begin my pre-heating the oven to 400 degrees.

Next, whisk the dry ingredients together and then mix the wet ingredients together in a separate bowl.

Then pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until they are combined.

Next, add in the green chiles and cheese.

Then, pour the batter into a pan and dot the batter with pieces of butter.
