All you need are just four ingredients to make these Cake Mix Cookies. My recipe includes instructions for three different flavor varieties: M&Ms, sprinkles, and cinnamon.
Move the oven racks to the upper-middle and lower-middle positions. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line cookie sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
MIX COOKIE DOUGH:
In a large bowl, add cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil.
Use a wooden spoon to mix everything until combined and no flour streaks remain.
Stir the mix-ins into the batter until evenly distributed.
Use a 3-tablespoon scoop to scoop the batter. Roll the scooped batter into balls.
Place the dough balls 3 inches apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
BAKE COOKIES:
Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes, rotating the cookie sheets halfway through baking. The cookies are done when the centers are puffed, and the edges are lightly golden and set.
COOL AND SERVE:
Cool the cookies on the cookie sheets for 15 minutes. Then, transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely, about 30 minutes. Serve.
Notes
The mix-ins in the recipe are just suggestions. Other possible mix-ins include chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, mini peanut butter cups, coconut, chopped nuts, etc.
Also, feel free to use a yellow cake mix or chocolate cake mix.
