Ingredients

– Bittersweet Chocolate Baking Chips – Butter  – Granulated sugar – Large eggs  – Table salt – Pure vanilla extract – All-purpose flour

NOTE: You can make the batter ahead of time and scoop it into the ramekins, cover with plastic wrap and stick them in the refrigerator until you’re ready to bake them, up to 24 hours.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Melt the chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of butter in a microwave-proof bowl for 1 minute.

Butter 4, 8-ounce ramekins and spoon 1 teaspoon of sugar into each ramekin, swirling until the insides are completely covered.

Add the sugar and eggs to the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment and beat on medium-high until pale yellow and thick, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the melted chocolate mixture, the salt & vanilla and mix until just combined. Fold in the flour.

Divide the batter evenly among the ramekins and place the ramekins on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes.
