What kind of chocolate for fondue?
Choosing the perfect chocolate for your fondue depends on your desired flavor profile. Here are some options:
- Milk chocolate: For a sweeter and creamier experience, milk chocolate is a crowd-pleaser, especially for kids.
- Semisweet chocolate: This versatile option is a sweet spot between milk and dark chocolate, offering a familiar, slightly bittersweet flavor.

Instructions
Cuisinart Electric Fondue Pot Instructions:

- Stir with a rubber spatula until smooth and creamy.
- Repeat with the remaining chocolate.
- Add the peanut butter and stir constantly until incorporated.
- Reduce the temperature to Setting 3 to serve the fondue immediately with your favorite dippers.
Stovetop Instructions:
- Place 1 cup of water in a medium saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium-low heat.
- Place a medium bowl over the simmering water and add the chocolate and cream.
- Let the mixture sit for a minute, and then stir constantly until completely melted, about 5-10 minutes.
