How To Make Whipped Honey Butter

  1. First, beat the butter until fluffy. 
  2. Next, add the honey and vanilla extract and beat until combined. 
  3. Add milk as needed. 
  4. Then, transfer the butter to a smaller bowl and cover it with plastic wrap. 
  5. Finally, serve immediately or store in the fridge until ready to serve. Bring the butter to room temperature before serving.

Storage Tips

SERVE: If the butter is kept in the refrigerator, make sure it sits at room temperature for an hour before serving. You can leave the butter out for about two hours before it needs to be refrigerated.

STORE: Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 1 month in an airtight container.  

FREEZE: Place the whipped honey butter in a freezer-safe container and freeze for 12 months.

DEFROST: Defrost in the refrigerator overnight. You may need to re-whip the butter for a minute if the butter was in the freezer for more than six months.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract



  • In a medium bowl, beat butter until fluffy, 1-2 minutes.
  • Add honey and vanilla extract and beat until well combined.
  • Add milk and beat until well combined. Add more milk depending on your desired consistency.
  • Transfer the butter to a smaller bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.
