Air Fryer Filet Mignon
Filet Mignon in the Air Fryer is a simple dinner for two. Typically, when I think of Filet Mignon, I think of a fancy sit-down restaurant. But that can get pricey! So now, you can have a date night at home and enjoy restaurant-quality food.
And the bonus is that there is no need for a grill or to stand over the stovetop watching the meat trying to pan-sear it perfectly. All you need are a few simple ingredients and an Air Fryer.
Using this process for cooking the Filet Mignon in an Air Fryer creates tender, juicy, perfectly cooked steak every single time. The lean piece of meat is full of flavor and so tender, it slices like butter! Speaking of butter, the garlic butter on top of each steak provides a rich topping that is irresistible!

RECIPE FAQs
Air fryer cook times may vary depending on the brand and air fryer size, and preferred doneness of the steak. This recipe was cooked in a white Cosori 5.8qt air fryer and took about 9-14 minutes to cook.
While this is a hands-off recipe, once you place the steaks in the air fryer, it is beneficial to flip both steaks halfway through the cooking time to ensure they cook evenly.
It is safe to use aluminum foil in an air fryer, as long as it is not covering any substantial parts of the machine. Many people put a small piece on the bottom of the basket to make clean-up faster after cooking. However, I did not use foil in this recipe.
