This recipe is a no-bake dessert for dipping apples, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, your (clean) finger, or whatever your heart (or stomach) desires! Our favorite apple for dipping is Granny Smith.

How to make Caramel Apple Dip:
STEPS ONE AND TWO: Begin by making the caramel sauce by combining the ingredients in a saucepan; after bringing it to a boil, stirring constantly for 5-7 minutes. Then stir in vanilla.
STEPS THREE AND FOUR: Next, make the cream cheese mixture by beating the ingredients together in a bowl until it is creamy and smooth. Add in 1/2 cup of caramel sauce.
STEPS FIVE AND SIX: Finally, add the cream cheese mixture to a bowl and place it in the fridge until ready to serve. Spoon the caramel sauce over the mixture and sprinkle on the toffee bits (optional).
RECIPE ADAPTATIONS:
If you’re short on time, then you can use store-bought caramel sauce. You will need about 1 cup.
You can sprinkle toffee pieces, crushed Butterfingers, or even toasted nuts on top of the dip.

Crean Cheese Caramel Apple Dip
Ingredients
CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE:
- 8 oz cream cheese softened
- ½ cup caramel sauce (recipe below)
- 1 Tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
CARAMEL SAUCE:
- 2 cups light brown sugar packed
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons vanilla extract
TOPPING (optional):
- Heath English Toffee Bits found in the baking aisle, or chop a candy bar into small
- pieces
FOR SERVING:
- Apples
- Cookies
- Graham Crackers or Graham Cracker sticks
- Nuts
Instructions
MAKE CARAMEL SAUCE:
- In a medium saucepan, add brown sugar, whipping cream, butter, and salt.
- Stir and bring the mixture to boil and cook stirring constantly for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
MAKE CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE:
- In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Add ½ cup of caramel sauce and beat until smooth.
ASSEMBLE:
- Add the cream cheese mixture to serving bowl. Place it in the refrigerator to chill for 20 minutes.
- Spoon the remaining caramel sauce over cream cheese mixture.
- Then, sprinkle with toffee bits (optional).
SERVE:
- Serve immediately with apple slices, cookies, and grand cracker sticks.
Notes
- If you're serving this as the only dessert, then it will serve 8. If you’re serving this at a party with other desserts, then it will serve 16.
- This dip will keep at room temperature for up to 2 hours.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
